Our Preclinical department established in 2008, spreads over an area of about 4500 Sq.ft. Proposed Animal House facility in an area of 7500 Sq. ft with Double Corridor facility, Controlled Temperature and Humidity, Automatically Controlled Light Cycle etc is under construction.

MTR completed nearly 130 pre-clinical studies which includes Biological Assays, Acute Toxicity, Sub Chronic Toxicity, Anti Cataract, Anti Ulcerogenic, Anti Allergenic in eye, Skin and Eye Irritation, Skin Sensitization, Blood Clotting Time, Prenatal Developmental Toxicity, Vitreous Humor Collection in Rabbit’s eye, Antimicrobial test : Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) (Plate Method & Macro Broth Dilution Method) Preservative Effectiveness Test , Time Kill Assay. Studies as per Schedule Y, OECD, Indian Pharmacopoeia, British Pharmacopoeia, NCCLS guidelines and Mutually accepted Protocols.
